For weddings and larger events, I recommend inquiring 4–6 weeks in advance whenever possible. Smaller custom orders (like a dozen cupcakes or a bouqcake) may be available with shorter notice, depending on my calendar. You can either submit a custom inquiry through the contact form or start an order directly through my Bakesy shop. Once I receive your details, I’ll confirm availability, review design ideas, and share next steps. Your date is considered reserved once payment is received.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your date. Your order is officially confirmed once payment is received. This allows me to reserve time on my calendar and order any special ingredients or supplies needed for your design.

Due to the custom and perishable nature of baked goods, all sales are final. Refunds are only available if an error is made on my part. If you need to cancel, no refunds will be issued, but in some cases we may be able to reschedule for a different date for an additional fee. Orders are picked up in Anamosa, Iowa at my home bakery. The exact address and pickup details will be provided in your confirmation message. Because this is a home-based business, pickups are by appointment only within the agreed-upon time window.

I’ll provide care instructions specific to your order. In general, desserts should travel on a flat surface inside your vehicle (not in someone’s lap or on a seat) and be kept out of direct sunlight or hot temperatures. Once your order leaves my care, you are responsible for proper handling and storage.

Yes, I love designing florals and desserts that coordinate with your event. You’re welcome to share inspiration photos, color swatches, or a wedding palette. While exact color matching isn’t always possible in buttercream, I’ll get as close as I can while still keeping the colors beautiful and food-safe.

No, I do not ship desserts at this time. All orders are for local pickup in Anamosa, Iowa, and in some cases limited delivery may be available for weddings or larger events by special arrangement.

In the unlikely event that I must cancel a confirmed order due to illness, emergency, or other unavoidable circumstances, I will notify you as soon as possible and issue a refund for any prepaid amount that cannot be fulfilled.
